​Eight Wonderful Wednesdays this Summer!

 - It's been a long winter. We are looking forward to once again bringing people of all ages together for some great music on Wednesday nights in Excelsior.

Here is our 2022 band line-up. We'll be updating this website soon with more details. Food trucks and beverages will be available between 5-9pm and music will start at 7pm. Please send us an email with any questions.

Concert Info

PARKING: There is metered parking available along Lake Street which borders The Commons park (these spots tend to fill up early on busy nights). There are also parking in downtown Excelsior. The Commons park is located at 135 Lake Street in Excelsior.
 
FOOD & DRINK: Bring your friends and family to the park for dinner before or during the concert. Food trucks will be available at each concert starting at 5pm. These trucks will serve a variety of food. Checkout our Facebook page for updates on the specific trucks that will be serving food each night. Food vendors will be contributing a portion of their sales for the bandshell project.
 
Cold beverages will be for sale starting at 5pm. Beer, wine, soda and water is available for purchase. We encourage you to purchase these items at the concert as another way to help support the efforts to build a new bandshell in the park. No outside alcohol is allowed, per city ordinance.

Please note EVERYONE needs a valid ID to purchase alcohol, no matter your age. Please plan to bring a valid driver's license or passport to get a wristband that allows you to purchase alcohol.

 
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Are Credit Cards Accepted? Yes

Will Bands Perform Rain or Shine? Poor weather conditions may impact the concert schedule. A decision will be announced no later than 4pm on the day of the concert if things will be rescheduled. This information will be on our website as well as our Facebook page.
 
When does the music start and stop? Music will start each night at 7pm and end around 9pm.

Can I bring my own food/beverages? We will have a variety of food and beverages available for purchase. We encourage you to support these vendors who are also helping to support the fundraising efforts for the new bandshell. No outside alcohol can be brought into the park, per city ordinance.
Can I bring a chair? Absolutely! Bring your favorite chair or blanket and find a comfortable spot on the lawn to enjoy a great evening of music.

Will there be an ATM? There is not an ATM at The Commons Park. However, several businesses in downtown Excelsior have ATMs. All food and beverage vendors can accept credit cards.
 
Where is Lost & Found? If you lost or forgot something at the park, please email us with a description of what you are looking for. You can also contact the Public Works Department from the City of Excelsior.
 
Are pets allowed? Yes, leashed pets are welcome at the concerts. We ask you to be a responsible pet owner and follow the rules the City of Excelsior has established.
 
Who is organizing these concerts? The Excelsior Morning Rotary Club is a service-focused organization. One of our goals is to raise money so it can be given away. Our club has 100+ members ranging in age from 25-80. Guests are always welcome to enjoy a free breakfast and learn more about the club at its weekly meeting on Wednesdays at 7am at Maynards in Excelsior. How can my band be considered to be a part of next year’s concert series? Please email us with your contact information and a link to your website. We will make decisions in late 2022 for our concert series in 2023.
